About us:

Pandemonium is a casual, 10m raiding guild. We run raids throughout the week, each is managed separately by it's raid leader.

“Casual” means we play the game to have fun. “Raiding” means that for us, “fun” = seeing all the content. And, doing whatever it takes to achieve that. We simply can’t afford anything other than the most professional and committed approach during our raiding time if we want to meet our goal.

About you:

You will do all the usual things to be ready for a raid and are the sort of person that doesn’t need me to tell you what they are. You are also the sort of person that understands what social fit is and will realize that not everyone, or even most, will be right for this guild.

You are a person who appreciates the difference between strategy and tactics, i.e., that we expect you to know that the Bloodbeasts shouldn't hit you before you show up and, at the same, time you can still expect to find out how you, personally, will contribute to ensuring that happens from the Raid Leader before the fight.

You have an intrinsic understanding of the need to respect the time of the other 9 or 24 people in your raid. You get that making the raid wait 10 minutes, for any reason, is the equivalent of wasting 2 person hours.

You respect your guild tag. You get that WoW is a social game and that your in-game reputation—and by extension ours—has a disproportionate impact on our ability to get groups, recruit players, trade with other guilds, etc. You expect a zero tolerance approach to creating drama in general or trade chat, amongst each other, or on the realm forums.



So, now what?

Ask yourself a couple questions:

1) Are you able to commit raid times? If “yes,” great. If “no,” stop here, you are not right for this guild. We don’t recruit benchwarmers. Every player we bring in is a player we expect to raid with.

2) Are you currently applying to any other guilds? If yes, then best of luck but stop here, you are not right for this guild. Applying to a tight-knit guild is a time-intensive process—we want to invest ours in people that are sure they want to invest in us.

If you put time, thought and consideration into filling out your application, you will receive the same in return when we evaluate it. If you don’t, you won’t.


What’s the process?

Once we see an application, we will move it to the member’s section for comments from the team. If they feel you are someone they’d like to raid with, we will invite you as an initiate for some trial runs. You will be eligible for loot during this period but members will be given priority. The initiate period typically lasts for 4-5 raids, at which point we will ask the members to vote. The options are yes, no, and needs more time. Feel free to discuss this process in detail with any officer.

--Prot - 15/5/51 (pts in Imp Spell Reflect for Malygos, normally flipped into Imp Revenge for pure threat)

Why have you chosen these talents?
--This is essentially the best all around threat build while maintaining the required mitigation talents. There are few 'survival' talents in the Prot tree that you could justify getting instead of Impale/Deep Wounds in Arms, and the pts in Fury are pure threat pts. Come dual specs, I'll likely have a heavy threat build and a heavy mitigation build (possibly including Imp Disciplines, and the new SW glyph for a much shorter CD on Shield Wall). Arms or Fury Alt build are options, but not something I'm too worried about at this time.

What guilds have you been in previously? Why are you leaving your current guild?
--Prior to transferring to Muradin, I was Resurgence on Area 52 (top 300US guild) as a non-raider. Even as a non-raider I was able to help Resurgence clear BT, and up to KJ (only saw KT to 17% myself, but I know that Resurgence downed him). I left Resurgance due to insane queue times on Area 52, and the fact that I was hoping for a more regular raid spot. They were great to me, a great guild, and I loved my time with them, but I just needed a change.

What is your previous Raiding experience?
--Vanilla WoW (lvl 60) - MC, Ony, BWL - Cleared
--Vanilla WoW (lvl 60) - AQ40 up to C'Thun, Naxx Anub, Raz, Noth, Faerlina cleared.
--TBC (lvl 70) - Kara, GL, VR, TK (minus Kael'Thas), SSC (minus Vashj), Hyjal (minus Archi) <-- all in a guild that was NOT Resurgence), BT full clear, SW almost full clear (w/ Resurgence).

What should Pandemonium expect from you?
--Pandemonium should expect a tank willing to bust his head on hard mode content until either his head explodes, or the content is on the ground dropping loot. I understand your conduct policy and must say, I'm very impressed and can gladly abide by it. I come to raids with food and flasks, I know what gear I need and what gear would be nice to have.

What do you expect from Pandemonium?
--A professional, respectful raid environment with a focus on progression.

What are your professions?
--450 mining / 450 BS (thinking about dropping mining for JCing for improved min/max)

What has been your favorite raid encounter in WoW thus far and why?
--Vaelestraz - FLAME! DEATH! DESTRUCTION! I've always loved his speech, endless amounts of rage, and trying to survive through BA.

What should we ask that isn't asked above?
--What rare patterns/recipes, if any, do people have (I know some of the JC patterns are still rep grinds). Do they have a traveler's mammoth mount? (I don't). Can they make fish feasts? Maybe stuff like that...

Kaizen, Talon, FTW (<-- I picked that name. Cool, amirite?). Had to leave cuz they just couldn't drop the bosses that have the loot I need.

all of it. oh and attempts on EoE. We almost had phase three a couple times!

--I don't need sites. I just talk to this one guy who is REALLY good.
